I wrote a song called Robot about ten yrs ago and listed it on a music site we both belonged to. He called himself "Ram Jam" at that time. He heard my song and let me know that it moved him deeply. Since then Ian and I have been as close friends as two people can be thousands of miles apart from each other. Ian was always up front an brutally honest with anything I was doing either musically or mentally. I miss him calling me "boss" and how he would defend the arguments we had. He always warned me he wasn't long for this world and I knew the day would come eventually. When it did, I was crushed deeply. I guess I never really thought it would happen. I miss my friend and think of him everyday. I know he brought much joy to the ones around him. Rest well my friend. -rich lodato
